Dr. Anja Widmann is a board-certified pediatrician with a passion for providing high-quality care to children. With over 12 years of experience practicing in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico, she has established herself as a trusted and dedicated healthcare professional.

Originally from Germany, Dr. Widmann had a diverse upbringing, spending time in various parts of Germany, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. She completed her high school education at the Colegio Alemán in Mexico City before pursuing her medical degree at Karl Eberhard Universität Tübingen in Germany.

During her medical studies, Dr. Widmann gained valuable clinical experience through rotations and sub-internships in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the United States. After graduating from Medical School in 2006, she embarked on her pediatric residency at Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, successfully completing it in 2011.

Driven by her dream of establishing a pediatric practice on the Mexican Pacific coast, Dr. Widmann moved to Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico. She dedicated herself to the process of construction and revalidation of her studies by the Mexican authorities. Additionally, she spent six months serving at the Hospital General de Puerto Escondido, familiarizing herself with the local healthcare system.

Since October 2012, Dr. Widmann has been providing comprehensive pediatric care at Consultorio Pediátrico Oasis del Pacífico. Her commitment to staying current in the field is evident through her board certification in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and her membership in the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Widmann's multilingual abilities, combined with her international background and expertise, enable her to effectively connect with patients and families from diverse backgrounds. She is fluent in German, English, and Spanish, ensuring clear communication and understanding with her patients.
